Decorative Water Butts

Harvesting rainwater from your roof during wet weather and storing it in a container to water your precious plants during a dry spell is a great idea. Rainwater is better for your plants than tap water and if you are on a water meter you could save money too.

Some people have been put off the idea of adding a water butt to their garden because, well, lets face it they have tended in the past to be not that aesthetically pleasing. While the most artistic of us have creatively painted our water butts (we do wonder how long the paint will stay on the plastic barrel all weathers), others have carefully planted around the container or purchased woven screens to hide the water butt from sight.

The good news is that beautiful water butts are available off the shelf now. We have searched the web to bring you our top five functional and beautifully decorative water butts.
